Differences are what makes humanity the beautiful family that it is.
That’s right, WE ARE FAMILY, and our surname is HUMAN.
Family doesn’t allow each other to starve, family does not force a member into such a state of desperation that they have to sell their body to prevent themselves and their children from starving, family doesn’t bomb one another’s homes. Family doesn’t sit by and watch while one of their members are beaten, broken, and destroyed. Family doesn’t push the sole of their boot into the faces of their siblings when their siblings have simply come to them for help in a time of desperation, hoping for a better life.
Family doesn’t force one another into a box of sameness; erasing the wonderful differences that we have been blessed with.
Family celebrates each member’s talents and unique differences.
Family extends their hand to help pull their brother up.
Family offers shelter and charity to each other when in need.
Family protects one another.
Family supports each other.

Purpose
Access to the most basic human rights is a right of every human. Basic food, ownership of your own body, shelter, and safety are rights that all humans are entitled. The hoarding of food, the using of other humans as slaves, and denying our fellow humans access to basic human rights is unacceptable. Velveteen Buffalo is here to combat these atrocious acts and to provide monetary support for those in desperate need of these most basic human rights. We are here to open eyes to the shared humanity within us all. |
Charity
50% of all profits go to all-embracing charitable organizations helping those of us that are most vulnerable and most in need. We are currently giving our charitable donations to the UNITED NATIONS WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME
